HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

A quick post to help ring in the new year! This is my first real attempt at using Illustrator to do some clean up and color work... But its allot of fun I have to say. I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year! 

 The sketch of this piece came from a cold day here in the studio, where I saw a girl rushing from building to building with a scarf. Granted there isn't snow on the ground in valley right now but it sure did feel close to freezing that day hehehe. 

Berkshire Eagle!

My home town newspaper did a write up of my involvement with Bee Movie! It was very nice of them, and they were great during the interview. Seeing that I have never done anything like that before(I was nervous hehe). Its crazy to summarize the past 7 years leading up to working on my first feature film animation... Here's hoping for many many more to come over at DWA.

Also Lindsay has received word that she has won an Animago award for "best idea" of a short film. Even a year out of school and that thesis is still clamming awards hehehe. RCAD will be happy to hear the good news. Congrads Lindsay!

"I wanna rock!"

Welp, one of my friends at work is doing some character designs using hair metal (gotta love the 80's) as inspiration. So while waiting for renders...I tried my hand at some too.
