There's a certain charm in your pencil drawing (some nice shapes, especially the hair!) I would love to see come to the marker version that doesn't quite make it here. I think emulating the variation in line quality would help enormously; like the delicate lines for flesh vs. heavy strokes for fabric, perhaps?
